O.K. D-Will-No Korver | 3:53 p.m. Oct. 7, 2009
I have played enough golf to know that the tork put on the knees when swinging at a golf ball more than likely would be the wrong thing for Kyle to do right now with his existing knee issue. Otherwise I think it is great that these 2 young men get involved in the community in alot of local activities and are so respected for it. Continue on guys.

The wrist must be feeling mighty fine to be entering a golf challenge. I don't want to hear his excuses come the open of the season. Just make your shots since you decided to opt in.

Oh come on people these guys are basketball players sometimes we as fans think that these guys should be locked away in a prison so they can't do anything, all because they want to go play golf. I have horrible knees and still golf, I swing it hard too, my knees are fine when I golf, so D-Will & Korver go have fun, the rest of us are just jealous....................

Careful when you swing! | 7:40 p.m. Oct. 7, 2009
I for one am happy Korver's knee feels good enough to play golf. Hopefully he will be able to be back on the court soon. I look forward to seeing what that wrist surgery accomplished. The Jazz need Korver, he adds dimension to the team.

So you are the expert physician in charge of Korver's care these days, huh? Yeah, I thought NOT. You have know idea what causes the inflammation in Korver's knee. While swinging a club does put a certain amount of torque on the knee (one more than the other), depending on the player (it's not like he's Tiger Woods), it is a much different type of stress to the knee than that caused by the physical play of basketball. Further, I think it is very likely that they are just being cautious in keeping Korver out of pre-season action (so far), so the knee isn't really aggravated when the season starts. Your posting history clearly shows your bias against Korver and you don't miss an opportunity to criticize him whether it is warranted or not.
re: Miles - correction | 10:14 p.m. Oct. 7, 2009
Sorry, make that 'no idea', and I meant to direct those comments to the first poster 'OK DWill No Korver'.... and will also add that DWill has been struggling with one of his knees as well... along with the injury to his heel, so do you want to revoke your 'approval' of DWill's golf now too? I am quite confident that these guys work very closely with their doctor's and trainers, and neither player is going to take part in something that will risk their play with the Jazz. Keep in mind that working out, practicing and scrimmaging with the team are more likely to cause injury (or aggravation to an injury) than golfing (depending on the injury... which again, the players and their doctors are in a much better position to judge this than fans are).

For Miles... last update from Korver was that the wrist IS in fact feeling great.

I could care-a-less about Korver's knees as my comment was about his wrist.

... which is why I corrected my post, and directed it to the other poster, and made the comment about the wrist to you.
Boozer and Korver | 2:37 p.m. Oct. 9, 2009
Can neither one play defense. The two of them in the game together should never happen. Korver is a high paid gun that can't shoot. They opted in, cause nobody wanted them. Now Kevin opt them out in a trade if you can. People complained about C.J's contact, which is a bargain compared to Korvers. Send the ladies man and the Boozer on their way.
