I wish Burger King would make over its menu to include more healthful options. A little whole grain in the buns would be a good start. They should follow the lead of New York City and put the calorie counts on the menu and on the packaging. They should offer better beverage options for kids. Seriously, no child under 18 should be drinking soda anyway. A mixture of 25% real fruit juice and sparkling water is a great subsitute.
For some reason unknown to me kids seem to love bits of chicken parts deep fried in fat and dipped in sugar saturated sauces. The sauces would be a good place to start improving their eating habits. What about Burger Kind offering some healthful sauce choices without all the high-fructose corn syrup?
This is the fattest industrialized nation in the world with nearly the lowest life expectancy rates. I don't care if the restaurant is painted in pretty colours only if it serves decent food.
