of what? Just other small-town backwater clinging to its past as if it were a means of ensuring future growth and prosperity.

Brigham City indeed used to be "a slice of paradise" like so many other small Utah towns. Unfortunately, development and sprawl has ruined them all and none retain their original charm. From Logan and Brigham City in the north, all the way to Payson in the south, it is now just one big polluted mess.
