That is right! We are no longer only 6! We are over 13 million now & it is time we all act like it. I am sick & tired of seeing members lay down & let the world walk on them like they were only 6. Come on members, start acting like we are in this world, whether we are OF it or not. Quit watering down the doctrine & teach & preach the TRUTH like Elder Holland did at the conference. I am so proud of him & the few others that will tell the world like it is! :) Thank you for letting me tell it like it is & please post this for those who enjoy reading the REAL TRUTH.

Thank you for sharing these historical photographs. They are very much appreciated. Not to be picky, but I wanted to clarify that the photograph of the First Presidency where Wilford Woodruff is said to be in the picture is in reality Lorenzo Snow (photo 8). Also, the photograph of the First Council of the Seventy (photo 7) dated 1970 should be somewhere between 1976 - 1978. The First Quorum of the Seventy wasn't organized until '75.

JPH1223 Thank you for your comments. Sometimes people are miss identified on older photos, and I could have read the date 1970 when it was a 6. Thanks again for your input.

While the First Quorum of the Seventy wasn't organized until 1976, previous to that date there was a First Council of the Seventy, much like the presidents of the Seventy we have now. Our good family friend, S. Dilworth Young, was a member of that Council.

Kind of neat to look at the photos.

I always thought Lorenzo Snow looked a little like an elf. (I hope he has a good sense of humor....)

The Church, despite the anti's claims, is in fact, true.

And I thank God for it.

Good comment, Bill Baumgardner Sr, but I would add that we also shouldn't all act like all 13.5 million on the rolls are doing just fine and have strong testimonies. It's not the case, and there are many whose names are on there who probably don't want anything to do with the Church. Woe unto them who say all is well in Zion!

Can't you have someone go in and correct the picture with Lorenzo Snow in it? Its been up for two days now.
