Olympics loss forces Chicago to rethink plans
6 comments | Read story
With their tail between their legs they must now face their public and the millions or billions spent in preparation of a dream that didn't happen.
That about sums it up. Don't get me wrong, Chicago is a great city: art, culture, museums, sports, location, friendly people, but it's past history of mobsters, murder, prohibition, politics, payoffs, scandals, etc., right up to the present, is there for all to see.
...not really that much different from a number of large cities in the U.S.
In spite of the scandalous behavior in Utah, the nation supported the 2002 Winter games, even giving Utah 3.2 in Olympic welfare funds.
The world watch as an organized group of American rejoiced in our nation loosing. If that didn't show the world moral decay in America. Talk about showing American weakness, conservatives out did themselves.
Eight-four percent of American's supported the Chicago bid. They put their nation ahead of petty politics. Once, more conservatives hatred betrays American greatest.
Conservative came out looking real stupid once more. Milton Friedman, the father of free market economics and the father of neoconservatism Leo Strauss both came out of the University of Chicago.
Chicago highly influenced the Reagan Administration. Any in his White House where students of Leo Strauss.
What's conservative's next attack on America?
and showing his priorities are all messed up.
And your feeble attempt at blaming and attacking conservatives,
again,
and your inability to distinghuish between conservatives and neo-conservatives,
shows you can NOT think straight or see straight.
