Surely it is no accident that a man with President Uchtdorf's poignant life experience was placed in such an influential office *before* these tough times began. He is an inspiration and a blessing.
This guy doesn't have to worry. He gets paid by LDS, Inc no matter what happens.
What a fine young man he is.
and retired before he was called to be a seventy...He most likely is living off of his retirement..Just like my dad who worked hard and saved.
What a great lesson from a leader of the LDS church who have to work hard and learn on his own. Yes we can learn from him.
My father served in the UNITED STATES ARMY IN England during WWII. The GERMAN'S nearly destroyed LONDON yet could NEVER DESTROY the reslove of the ENGLISH people or the ALLIED FORCES that were waiting to liberate FRANCE.
My father taught me the same lessons PRESIDENT UCHTDORF learned as a young man. I will be forever thankful that my father taught me as well as the fact that I listened to him and did what he taught me to do.
It is ironic that such simple truths have the same effect no matter who you are or where you are in this world.
