Excellent, straight-forward counsel. Thank you, Elder Ballard!
We just had the birds and bees talk with our son who is eight. It was an incredile, amazing experience. We highly recommend "How to Talk to Your Child About Sex" by Linda and Richard Eyre and "How Babies are Made" by Andry and Schepp. Without these books, we would have missed out on one of our most priceless parenting experiences.
Thank you Elder Ballard for your counsel on what to discuss during future big talks. It is so empowering to feel equipped to prepare our children for the assaults ahead.
As one who cannot completely trust their father, I find strength in Elder Ballard's words. As I have applied these principles the best I can under challenging circumstances, my father and I have both been greatly blessed.
This counsel is not just for children of "good" dads. Thank you, Elder Ballard.
Did Elder Ballard talk in a non-priesthood session? I missed hearing from him.
