One thing you can always count on from Max is an interception. The only question is when. He's got a real talent for finding defensive players.

BYU's Andrew Rich will go PRO

Good thing BYU's

defense is somewhat functional. Hall just threw his second needless interception.

I was really encouraged by the fact that BYU held USU to just 81 total yards in the first half. Then Max Hall struck in the 2nd half and gave USU plenty of chances to drive the ball. Allowing USU to gain about 40 more yards in the 3rd quarter than they had in the whole 1st half was not good.

Max Hall is really making me angry this year. His two picks in this game were absolutely stupid. If things don't change fast, BYU will lost at least 3 more games this season (TCU, Utah, and 1 other). The defense just isn't good enough to be bailing the offense out all the time.

another reason that the wac is better then Mt. west, is that our turf isnt falling apart and changing game outcomes, the ags got hosed in this one by the field.

I'm sure you said the same thing when BYU was hosed by the Hawaii turf and lost their undefeated season in 2001.

Fact is, both teams have to play on the same field. Maybe BYU has figured out how to cope with it after 2 home games. But that's part of home field advantage.

The bad turf certainly didn't help BYU against Florida St. In fact, it probably hurt them more than it did the speedier Seminoles, since speed helps you when you need to make up ground lost from a slip.

Harvey

Harvey Unga is a real man! BYU defense is doing very well.

Hall to Pita

Touchdown!!!! Thanks for the game Aggies!

re: bob carlisle

Give me a break...the field had nothing to do with Utah State losing tonight...what a cop out

Realist

Well its over.....35-10!

USU good game....you played BYU closer than the Yewties will this year.....can the Utes borrow your Qb and RB?

Can't wait to kill the Utes!\

Prediction BYU 45-Runnin Redskins 3

RR

What an enjoyable slaughter before conference! Fun game!

a garbage field is a garbage field, its BYU's field so they cant complain, they practice on it, they get used to it, if FSU got beat on it I would be upset too, fix your field! thats all I ask, or is that Bronco's solution for being competetive in the Mountain West? I dont know? I just know the most important defensive stop of the game was a fourth and one, in which the field made the stop, not BYU, its turf for crying out loud! how do you mess up turf?

re: bob carlisle
Utah State has lost for the 26th time in 29 games and you blame it on the turf. That's weak stuff! Like your coach said: make it a rivalry first then start talking.

Tur... Who?

Old Ute

To all the cougar fans who made a big deal about Utah's 35 - 17 win over Utah State saying the game should not have been that close. Well, time to eat crow cougars. Your score tonight was 35 - 17. I am sure the cougar win will be considered much more impressive since it was, of course, a cougar win. Most cougar posters are lame.

Atrocious

I don't think USU would have won anyway, but the coaching for USU was ATROCIOUS. Two bone head calls killed the Aggies.

Where is Brent Guy when you need him?

>the ags got hosed in this one by the field

Yes, since they always play such astoundingly fine games on other fields...

Aggies

Covered the Spread!!!

USU got smoked

Did any one see that block Hall put on a USU deffender?

That Nelson guy comes in for one play and runs it 10 yards up field.

Read em and weap Ags.

Cougs win!

Way to go Cougars, way to put a huge hurt on that Aggie offense.
