This book was recommended by my friend in Alabama. I could not put it down. Started on Saturday and finished on Sunday afternoon. I wish my friend that passed away in april could have read it she would have loved it. I will pass it on and recommend it to all in our bible study.

I normally cannot sit and read a book for a long period of time but I couldn't put "The Silent Gift" down. What a GREAT STORY!! I have passed it onto one of the women at church and she plans on recommending it to her book club if she likes it. I know she will. This book

If I were on Twitter I would tweet (twit or whatever) Oprah and suggest that she have it for her book club. There are not many books I get excited about, but this one has gotten me going.

I will admit that I do not enjoy reading, however my wife and I were at a recent Christian book fair and I decided to purchase this book. I have not been able to put it down. I am currently about 3/4 way done. (which is a HUGE feat for me) It is an excellent read! I think both men and women will be able to identify with Mary's struggles (especially given the current national economic crisis). With great enthusiasm I recommend this book to anyone who is in search of a book that is pure "soul-food" for your mind!

Wonderful book of faith. Be sure you have time to read for a couple of days because you cannot put it down. Will be giving this book for Christmas gifts.

I just happened upon this book and found the cover intriguing. Little did I know, the story was even more engaging. I recommend this to anyone looking for an interesting plot, with subtle twists and turns. I was certain that I had it all figured out until the last couple of pages. It was being marketed in the Christian book section, but I feel that is too limiting. It is a great read for everyone. I think this would make a great movie.
