Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. The fact that Overson was willing to publicly endorse Horiuchi, the bag man, ought to tell you something about him. Run away! Run away!

Why doesn't the article say who the other candidates are so I can know who to help, where to send my check, etc.

I was in the audience the day Brent Overson took out a package of Ding Dongs, inserted a candle and sand Happy Birthday to Doug Short during a public Commission meeting. This was at the height of his dispute with the former attorney over the long running and contentious power play that was going on at the time. I actually felt embarrassed for him, that he didn't have enough personal awareness to realize how foolish he made himself and County Government look that he had resorted to such childish antics and couldn't find a mature way to resolve the problems he and other officials were having behind closed doors. His era of leading government should remain over, especially now that classier individuals like Peter Corroon have stepped up and now run things in a respectful and considerate manner.

Overson is too much in bed with the liberal democrats he has worked with.

We need a REAL Republican candidate, not a RINO with lots of experience doing the wrong things.

... and I like Milton Witt.

I think Milton Witt is one of the dumbest adults I have met in my life. In all seriousness, he may have something wrong with him he is so dumb.

I don't know Overson, but don't really care if he has bipartisan support.

Kory has been a good representative, so its a shame to see him go.
