Way to GO BULLDOGS! WOOT! WOOT!
I was excited for a good year for us finally! looks like were blowing it again
Way to hold it down Maka!!!! Represent Provo to the Fullest!!! Cheeeee Hooooooooo
Ogden, you are not blowing it. You guys played a good game against a solid Provo team. Keep your heads, maybe will see you again in the playoffs. Good job Provo, football for Provo hasn't been this exciting for a long time, keep it up. GO PROVO!!!
Just like the Chicago Cubs, the Ogden faithful start with high hopes only to be welcomed with a healthy dose of reality.
Ogden is much better. This is not your father's Tiger team that folded like a piece of origami. However, Tiger fans, it is not the juggernaut you thought you had when you beat some lightweights earlier this season.
You will make the playoffs. Provo is a good team, maybe even better than good. Don't despair--you do have something in common with Provo. The Bulldogs won't win state either.
ogden is blowing it, they still have to play mountain crest and sky view for region play and they wont win either game, doubt they will make the playoffs
"Without Maka" Provo would be 1 in 6!!
I don't care what people say Maka IS the Provo "everything".
I agree with you! I am just waiting for the comments about the other players. It seems that bulldog parent and/or fans want to get the other players names in the storie BUT it is Maka that is the play maker of that team. Yes they won Lehi without Maka BUT it was LEHI every team they have played won them without a Maka on their team!
Sounds like the Provo coach agrees that Maka Provo would not be where they are without him!
Maka is the reason for Provo's sucess!
well maybe Provo wouldn't be as good without maka but Ogden would be nothing without that quarterback #17 he made just about every good play they had
Maka is a big part of the provo team but not the whole thing . . . without 10 other players on the field Maka would be nothing!
Maka is great we all know that but.. check out our line, gettin a push and givin time . great job boys.
I am an Ogden fan but after watching Maka play last night, I am a Maka fan too! The kid has the WOW factor!
Ogden will beat skyview. Skyview is no better than Provo. And Ogden should have beat Provo but was unlucky with a fumble in the red zone on their last scoring drive of the game. (not mentioned in the article). Provo only scored on Ogden's turnovers. And Mountain Crest better play well too or Ogden just might sneak a win there.
Truth is.... without Maka Provo would be 1-6. I think even the Provo coach knows that. There are 10 other player but Maka is the key. I think that is a hard pill of some parents and fans to sallow!
OHS followers: be grateful for the little league program. We are finally beginning to see the fruits of all the hard work. These boys know how to compete.
OHS dissenters: keep your mouths shut. You havent done anything but use Ogden as the poster child of dysfunctional programs.
Ogden, keep your heads up and control the ball. Turn overs are taking you out of the "W" zone. You should have been up 3 touchdowns on Bonneville and two on Provo. Work on the turn overs, all though part of the game. decrease them and you will do well the rest of the season.
Yes, Maka Unufe is a real standout but Provo has a lot of other quality football players. Both backs (#23 & #24) were studs and Coach Pope's kid is a stud. Its great too see some programs like Ogden and Provo come up in the world.
Provo had turnovers with 4. The turnovers are uncharacteristic of this years Provo team, and Provo should've been up by 3 touchdowns.
Stay classy Ogden.
The reason the fumble was not mentioned in the article was because the only reason that came was because the refs gave Ogden another chance after a questionable pass interference call on 4th and about 20. You will find out soon enough if Sky View is only as good as Provo. I can't recall the last time Ogden won in Cache Valley. Don't worry Ogden will finish the season with a winning record(6-4) and bundled warmly in the stands when playoffs roll around.
It is a hard pill for you! Make sure you get those other players names in the comment secition!!! Provo fans need help. They are always tring to plug another player instead of just being happy for Maka's sucess. "The other players" would be nothing without Maka and that is the truth!
I watched KSL last night and the only name I heard was MAKA!
