I think that the Samoan people are such wonderful spirits. My heart hurts for them and the anguish that they are feeling. I hope that help will come to all of them, not just in Samoa, and I hope that they will rebuild and heal. I am sorry for all of their family that are in that not knowing mode, I hope that you will fee peace and comfort, no matter the outcome.

Samoa is my home, and I will never forget my birth place, It was very sad to see that on National Television. Now people know that there's a Place call Samoa. I pray for my people and hope that they will be comfort and all those have lost thier loves one. my niece's baby die from it and all of her in laws. may God continue watching over them and be with them at this time. also my pray goes to our other families in American Samoa as well. May we all stand together and thank God for his love for everyone.I have faith that they will be alright.

At which Albertsons and WalMart locations in WVC can we donate? Are there people staffing the donation booths there, and is there a list of supplies we can purchase and donate? How can we help?

Will some one please hand me a tissue?. In the days after an earthquake and tsunami devastated several Pacific islands, tales of death and destruction made their way to the U.S. mainland via friends and family, they all run to their cell phones, and call up Extreme Home Makeover, to float their bus over there, to yell out "People of Samoa Family" come on out. My heart also goes out to all the People of Samoa, however, when Florida or any other south eastern state in the US gets hit with a major hurricane, we don't see them rushing to our aid. That's my point. And my view. What goes around comes around to.

"Brother Chuck Schroeder" Your comments certainly tell a lot about YOU. Perhaps you should take a little more time for some SERIOUS quiet self evaluation and spout off less about things you obviously know little about. Our hearts and prayers go out to all those suffering from these devestating disaters.

Theres one advice I'll give you Brother Chuck. Go wash off the beam from your eye before telling someone else to get the mote out of theirs. Just because you don't see Samoans help out from your one pair of eyes that doesn't mean we're not out and about doing good. We have served this great country and sacrificed much not only to build this great nation but to help out our beloved country "Samoa". We are Samoans and together we stand. May you be blessed and no I won't wish any bad luck or tragedy to come your way because I and I speak for all Samoans is not like you Brother C. Schroeder.

I was relieved to learn that my dear friend "is safe in the Lord's arms" in Samoa. God bless those who are still suffering. I give my sincere condolences to those who lost loved ones and I commend the Samoan community and others for assisting those in need. Surely God will bless Samoa through the hearts and hands of those who love Him.

I also would like to know what is being collected; where, exactly, to take collected items. I have a trailer full of brand new school books I would like to donate. Please let me know via this site if this is a need.

I really would like to know where to volunteer and donate here in SLC. God Bless all friends and family in the island of American Samoan, Western Samoa, and Tonga. Please continue to pray for everyones safety and comfort in this time of mourning, regrouping and redevelopment! Also, God bless all those helping and working from all over the world.
