Do we have to give this water to Las Vegas?
It's too bad that there are some that don't understand about the use of water. There are some people in my area that use water on there lawns everyday. As far as I am concerned they need there secondary water taken away. They abuse the system. I called the North Davis County Water District to report the abuse but they did not seem to care. The told one person that called about the issue and the lady there said you have some guy that calls all the time. From now on, if they are concerned about it...neither am I.
It seems that levels in all the lakes and resevoirs in the area are increasing except for Lake Mead which continues to drop. Is that because Lake Powell must be filled and then Lake Mead?
Since California has cut back on its cloud seeding to take much of the water out of clouds to aid its farmers and city needs, the rest of the county west of them seems to be getting more rain water. This also affects many underground aquifers because the natural flow and stockpile of snows is being reduced else where.
We need federal laws to stop California and other states from seeding the clouds traveling east that has been robbing the rest of the nation causing drought areas. Even in the winter months they have been seeding the clouds for moisture to stockpile snow in the Cascades for summer use. We have seen the affects of this in our own winter snow falls and seasonal rains. Water is being taken out of the clouds by unnatural means before it crosses the country.
"The impact" seems to be a bit geographically challenged.
the water is needed in southern utah where the reservoirs are not full
