I thought we were having a global warming problem, how are we getting record lows?

We were down to 23 this morning in Roosevelt. Sure put a halt to the gardening season.

Huh?

How can that be? Are you sure? Oh dear, what are we to do? I thought we were warming up!

The Global Warming Faithful will tell you that the cold is caused by global warming... Go figure.

Utah is the world anymore than Appalachia. Do they teach math in Utah? How do you figure out an global average? You add all the temperatures and divide this number by the number of element in the data set. So, you can have a few elements that are lower in value while the average still increases.

GOD created heaven and earth and he certainly can control the weather and climate as well. Scientists are afterall .. JUST MEN, and wrong alot of the time. Also, they help politicians push false agendas to gain more control of our lives.. Don't get so sucked into false lies. And too Anonymous, I wish schools still taught basics, such as math instead of all the bull that they indoctrinate on our kids nowadays.

Mars is also having global warming. Do you blame humans for that as well? The reality is that the sun is more likely to blame. The reality is that the planet earth goes through cycles of severe cold and then we again warm. Since the last mini-ice age, we have been warming. Have you never heard of snowball earth? During the 1970's there were shorts of global cooling, we will go through another ice age or mini ice age at some point. Global warming is actually good since more of earth will be farmable, but shh, politicians don't want you to know that. Instead they would prefer to manipulate your $$$ for their purposes. That is the reason so many legitimate scientist are bailing on the global warming politics. Global Cooling, on the other hand, would devastate humans. I will follow Al Gore's example of big house using lots of energy and private planes. If he isn't cutting back, instead increasing usage, so too will I.

A little experiment for you: Fill a glass with ice, then add water to the very top. Now allow to melt. Notice how the water does not flow OVER the glass? So why would melting ice in the ocean act any differently?

Google Average earth temperature by year. You will see very little difference in earth temperature than in 1878 if you read the article by The Register.

Thanks for a little sanity. The rest of the people on this blog would tell you it was night if they were staring at the sun. The idea of "average" and "global" is too elusive for them. Fortunately, their denial can only last so long.
