"Owayo" "Owayo" "Owayo".....recognize the cardinal and gold!
The part that isn't mentioned in the story is the touchdown by Tanner when it was 21 to 17. Stupid Reffs called it back for unsportsman like conduct which ended up losing the game for Davis... UGH!!!
Go Big D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lloyd rocks!!!
The best part is that Davis lost!
That's the way, Vikes!
Ballin, the touchdown was not called back because of un-sportsman like conduct after the touchdown. It was called back for holding. The referee’s did a great job! Stop your bawling Ballin.
Great game Viewmont. The Viewmont kicker did great to get the field goal right before half, especially after Davis tried to "ice" him.
Viewmont continues to get better and better each week.
Keep it up Vikes!
So noting that Davis has about 40% more students than Viewmont I'd have to say that pound for pound Viewmont is better. Sweeeeeeeeetttt! Oh BTW, did you know that Viewmont's tennis team won the region tournament this week? Not a bad week for Viewmont sports. Go Vikes!
What a great win for VHS football and the entire school. Once again coaches did an outstanding job preparing the players. They made the right decisions when it counted and players executed. VHS fans take some notice: You have good coaches and a good team! GO VIKES!
the td was brought back for a hold. The unsportsmanlike just added insult to injury.
What a tough loss Davis! Keep your heads up. You can only learn from your mistakes and not get discouraged! You've still got plenty of games ahead. Just keep going and hopefully winning!
maroon and gold.....the color of champions
Coach Lloyd is the real deal! You guys rock! Keep it up and keep it rollin'! You can do it!
Wasn't all the ref, but he is a Viking Alum and a coach at Syracuse. What is he doing reffing a region 1 game????
Congrats Vikes!
Anytime someone goes into Davis and wins--thats a big accomplishment.
I cheer for teams like PG and Viewmont....we have 1,000 less kids than the 6A enrollment teams like Alta, Davis and Bingham.
Savor the victory. Big win against a good team.
I take my hat off to Viewmont for the victory. They did what they had to do by taking advantage of Davis' turnovers. That shows a team that is well coached. I was impressed with #34 for Viewmont. He played like a beast.
#2 for Davis is the real deal. Viewmont Keyed on him and he still got good yards at crucial times. The holding call was a killer, but that's football.
My question is whether the unsportsmanlike conduct was for excessive celebration? Does anyone know?
Davis did not look like Davis in this game. Viewmont played well.
It's always the refs..... ;} Way to go Vikings!
Hoorah Vikes! Way to win. Way to make this old alum smile.
One play does make a game. Viewmont outplayed Davis, out-coached Davis and was just plain better on this night. Davis people can't handle it whenever Viewmont is successful. Whahhhhhhhh! There were tough penalties on both sides (ie the Viewmont fumble recovery taken to the five yard line called back on a hold). People in Kaysville just can't handle it. Weird, the Davis players have a lot of class...it's the grown ups there that act silly. Goooooooo Vikings!
