of course DNews just says "various lawmakers"... how about listing them? oh yeah, too many have their hands in the cookie jar.
Conservative Utah, the anti-Obama headquarters, seeking to grab money from the stimulus package. The hypocrisy is off the charts. In practice, Utah, then, supports the Obama Administration.
Utah seeks slice of big grant?, if I were Sen Hatch I would send it all back, and tell them we don't need it nor want it. After all we are a Red State. And Utah don't supports the Obama Administration.
Can we please stop begging for federal money? How many times do we have to get bitten before we get away from the feds? Has NCLB not been venomous enough to teach us to avoid any federal regulations?
I know the federal money is tempting, but so is a bottle of Draino in the middle of the Sahara Desert. The consequences of both are less than desirable.
