Thank you so saying what I've been thinking for years. In an electronic world, it becomes too easy to sit inside with our computer screens, games and I-Pods instead of going outdoors to interact with nature and other people. It's not too late to change -- we just need to change our priorities.

Great column today! I SO TOTALLY agree with this. Kids today spend way much time indoors.

It's great to have people like Mary who can pass her passion for the outside on to grand parents, parents, and the kids.
