Anything to protect their profits. Drug companies are ripping us all of by the billions. They are trying to protect their cash cow by giving away drugs while this issue is before congress. Watch and see what happens when Congress moves on to other issues. A 22% discount is still more than it costs to buy the same drugs in Canada.

Pharmaceutical companies are making the cost of American goods too expensive on the world market and running us out of business. Enough already, we need a public option to reign in medical costs before our entire nation goes broke.

This program is nothing to celebrate. This article praises this drug program, while in the same issue of this newspaper, another article points out that drug use is now killing more Utahns than vehicle accidents. The other article points out that many of these drug-related deaths are from overdoses of so-called prescription medications. The government absolutely should not be running a program that will facilitate addiction and eventual death. Modern society would have us believe that everyone must use some kind of substance in order to be happy. That is one of the practices that is destroying this Country. There was a time when citizens, and the government, believed in and promoted values such as moderation, prudence, and an abhorrence of substance abuse. Apparently, that time has passed.

Yes we can save a lot on prescription drugs by buying generics. I get from International Drug Mart. They have almost decade experience in pharma industry.
By the way generics are as effective as brand.
