Public/private health care options debated

The "Individual Mandate" is just one of several provisions that violate the rights of patients, doctors, business owners, and insurers. This provision is the most disturbing provision because the government has no moral or constitutional authority to force us (a) to buy insurance -- whether they need or want to or not, (b) to buy plans with specific coverage -- whether they need or want this coverage, and (c) to buy plans with a specific deductible -- whether they need or want this deductible or not.
The Individual Mandate gives the government a fascist foot in the door to control the doctor-patient relationship.
If signed into law, it would set a powerful precedent that would threaten liberty in ALL areas of our lives.
Talk about a slippery slope!
If the government has the right to do this to us, what can’t it do?
Why do we even pretend to have inalienable rights or a constitution to protect them?
