Looks like a good idea. Use what you have and know how to do it.
I always make my own bread and use what I have in storage.

I'm also a big advocate of storing what you use and using what you store. This way, less will be wasted and in the event of an emergency, your family will be familiar with the food that will be prepared.

It's like buckling your seatbelt, you don't like to think you'll ever be in an accident. But you still need to be prepared.
