I hope USU beats the ever-living life out of you - I honestly can't put into words how great it would be for BYU to be brought down the notch that they deserve... if you want serious, wait until USU's offense has put 24 points on the board in the first 9 minutes - you think I'm joking? USUs offense is as good as FSUs... wait and see. And at the end of the season, when BYU plays my Ute's, final score: 54 - 2 (I'll give you a safety because Cain is young, and might slip on the field...maybe...)

Great comment Jan. Does Mendenhallinstill this "non serious" attitude in all his players or is this just inherent in this team ? No wonder the Cougars are so inconsistent, first get drilled by a non ranked Florida State team and then almost losing to mediocre Colorado State (losing almost every statistic and only winning due to 2 key turnovers and a blocked punt). I do not think this team has room to take any one lightly with a non serious attitude. I am sure this article is posted in the Utah State locker room as incentive.

BYU spanked a decent CSU team. Their quarterback is strong. It was an entertaining game, with BYU in control throughout.

BYU had two turnovers as well. Difference is they capitalized while CSU didn't.

This will be a close game by two equally bad teams. Two bad defenses and ok offenses. If Max can keep his INT's under 4 then they have a chance. I'm going to go ahead and call an Aggie victory by 17.

Cougs will continue to spiral down when they meet the mighty Utes in November.

BYU will beat USU by as many points as they want to. There is nothing "mighty" about the Utes... unless you want to say "mighty confident." But, I'll call that over confidence.

I'm a true blue Cougar fan. But, I'll admit that TCU is carrying the Mountain West banner right now. It's the only team remaining on BYU's schedule that I believe is a favorite over the Cougars. I'm hoping that the Utes and TCU keep winning. It's the only way that the conference will continue to gain respect in the eyes of the national media.

This Utah State game... it's BYU's token donation to the USU athletics budget and helping in the effort to keep USU a division one school. Other than that, the game is a dog for the Cougars.

See, USU really does take playing BYU seriously. It's almost hilarious. USU just can't stand the fact that BYU exists and that they have to play them.

This is how I think the game starts. USU comes in so amped up and excited that they fumble the ball, we score on just a 20 yard drive, force a 3 and out, and get the ball back. Then, USU gets whistled for 4 straight personal fouls, 2 will be unsportsmanlike conducts, and we get to march in from our 20, again. So that will make the score 14-0 within the first 5 minutes.

Then, USU starts to march on the next drive, and throws an interception at about midfield, then we go 50 yards for a touchdown, and we get 21 points with only 5 minutes left in the first, just like last week.

Then I think USU gets really mad and drives down the field for their first touchdown. BYU stalls on a couple of drives. Max Hall probably throws another interception, giving USU their second touchdown of the game. Then, BYU rolls the rest of the game and it ends up 42-14.

We don't view this as more of a rivalry than it really is, it's an easy game for travel and fans to attend. Beyond that... our rivals are Boise State and Nevada. Btw Boise is a real team, and you don't have to go back to 1993 to find the last time we beat them. When was the last time byu beat our main rival? Oh, never? Ha, oh well.

And to you arrogant byu fans who think your boys are just going to stomp us, I can't wait to see the excuses come Saturday... and we'll get to hear why you couldn't keep us from scoring. Friday can't come soon enough.

Do you know how pitiful you Utah and USU fans sound when you come onto a story about BYU and spew your hatred? It makes you sound like your life is so worthless that your only "up" for the day is to get that zinger in on a BYU fan.

I like BYU football. I like UofU football. Havn't seen much of USU football, but for you all to be so vitriolic, seething, and bitter, makes me wonder what your world is like.

I actually do think that USU will probably beat the point spread and if a 17-21 point loss is a moral victory for USU then who am I to stop the celebration? In fact, I'm happy for all the folks in Logan who will be able to yell "over-rated" at their television screens after BYU wins 42-24. But it's kind of embarrassing when you think so little of your team that you consider another team overrated for not laying 50 on you. Good luck with that. Hopefully Anderson can turn things around and change the atmosphere up in Logan. I actually think USU may win 4-6 games this year and so I'll be pleased even if the score is not 56-3.

There is no team Aggies fans hate more than BYU. 95% of USU fans would take a victory against BYU any day over a victory against Boise State, unless for some reason a WAC championship were on the line.

Honestly the BYU game is not the biggest game of the year for USU but it is and in-state game and is an important game, as is every other game on the schedule. So I guess when your team makes the big time (at least in the mind of BYU players)you can take some games seriously and some not so seriously?

I love how BYU talks nothing but smack leading up to the Ute game... and in non-conference ... and in the off season... bla bla bla. And then someone else says, "No, you're arrogant, and in truth, overrated", and the BYU fans get MAD... lol - I love it.

Seriously, I think the real "boys in blue" will beat the Cougs this weekend. I don't actually watch USU, but I will definitely TiVo this game on the mtn. - they played alright against my Utes, and I can't wait for them to put the hurt on BYU.

And BTW, I WANT BYU to overlook USU, I WANT them to consider this a "gimme", please do - can't wait for byu to have 2 losses with all but CSU left on the schedule -can't wait for BYU to have 4-5 losses this season, then go to a "well, you stink, but you're in the MWC, so here's a bowl"-type bowl game. lol - awesome

Wow congrats Aggie fan, you beat Boise when they were Div1-AA. When was the last time you won the WAC? BSU has dominated your conference.

Maybe Utah State will score a few worthless touchdowns at the end of this game to, that way USU can feel they are relevent and have some kind of moral victory..
