whatever liabilities they have-you cannot leave excellent veterans such as Clint and Andy sit on the bench to start such a crucial stretch of games.

One of the more stupid moves Kreis has done all season.

once again... no comments because no one cares.

Cmon soccer fans! I cannot believe so few posts this weekend.

Minus the Haters

Yes it truly looks bleak. Yes, egg on face because I never thought San Jose would win at RFK

Says little for DC or playoff hopes there.

Analysis: Of course in 10th spot you have to beat out Dc and Toronto and we will have a chance to take care of Toronto,

I see no other way but 3 wins in 3 games.

That does not even guarantee a spot

There are only 2 teams we have a realistic chance of catching and must be successful with 1 of the 2 chances along with beating out Toronto and Dc

Seattle:(38) Road games Columbus, KC home vs Dallas

Likely finish: expect loss Columbus, maybe draw KC win vs Dallas Finish-42 points

Colorado: (39) Home NE, Road Dallas, Real

Likely finish: 50-50 win or draw home, 50-50 draw or loss at Dallas, Loss at Real

Likely finish 42 points

Colorado holds plus 4 goal differential over Real

Assuming Colorado would get 4 points next 2 matches, you likely have to beat COlorado and New York by 2 goals each to win tiebreaker

good luck

for how good we were at the end of last season, why did we get new players to take the spots of our last years play-off team, and with how good the formation was that we used last year, why change it this year. why try to fix something that isn't broken? time to start answering questions kreis, before all rsl fans lose hope in you.

That game was heartbreaking to watch. Maybe now we can play the spoiler for Colorado's playoff hopes.

Teams have figured us out. We play soft D in the first 15 or 20 minutes of a game. They know that if they push hard for goals in that time period that we are at their mercy. We have rarely played a good first half all season and it is killing us.
As for the rest of the season I am not hopefull. This team has never played well when the heat is on. If not for pulling out the ugliest win in the history of soccer against Colorado last year we wouldn't have been in there last year either.
Being in a position where we have to pull out three points in all of our remaining matches is too much. I say this stuff on Monday, when I'm all bummed, but by Friday I'll be all excited and ready to believe that they can do it.

Why do I see a bunch of letters across the foreheads of this team? Oh, wait, it's just the letter "L" Nevermind, all is normal!

That pathetic loss told me we have too few players that take this seriously. It's time to start over. Let's play Seitz the rest of the year and trade Rimando to a team like Dallas or NY for a 2nd round pick. Next year let's use that pick on a CB.
Can anyone tell me why Kreis is still starting Campos!? BRING HIM OFF THE BENCH!! If he starts all the rest of the games he costs us a 2nd round draft pick. If he doesn't start just 1 more game we don't. It's pretty simple.
Even if we win all 3 games we probably won't make the playoffs. At least we can still beat NY for the 1st time and keep the Rappids out. What an entertaining and frustrating year this has been.

It's not happening.. We're not going to make the playoffs. It's obvious rsl gave up after the houston game. OH WELL at least Chelsea lost to Wigan!!!

Let the facts speak for themselves. These numbers are all taken right off the MLS web page. My question is why Andy has not been starting every game over JAVI. Here is why. If you take each player and add together goals scored and assists and then divide this by minutes played it gives you a good sense of how effective (offensively) each player is per minute on the field. Andy out plays javi 3-1. Javi has done nothing for us this year. Let the facts speak for themselves. Andy has a goal or assist every 132 minutes, Javi has a goal or assist every 363 minutes.

Player Minutes Goals+Assists Minutes/Goals+Assists
Pablo 386 5 77
Andy 660 5 132
Robbie F 1637 12 136
Yura 1575 9 175
Clint 1786 9 198
Raph 208 1 208
Fabian 1259 4 315
Javier 1814 5 363
Ned 729 2 365
Kyle 1948 5 390
Jamison 1769 3 590
Will 2035 3 678
Chris 2162 3 721
Robbie R 1552 2 776
Nat 2409 1 2409

The rest of the team has no goals or assists

WE need 3 wins in 3 games. Here we go RSLs first ever 3 game winning streak! Let's go RSL, we're still behind you so don't break our hearts!

make fun of the fans not posting recently, but obviously the Des News has lost interest also. Not one article to read or post to since Sunday.

to trolls a little hard when 18 days off between games-slight good news New England loses but remember New england is outside the top 8, still looks very very bleak for the playoffs....

One thing is obvious when Olave is not in the back 4 anchoring, man the continuity and the roles change and man they cannot handle pressure.

It is amazing to me ANdy and Clint did not start the last game,
