Great kid.
Great family.
Prevention is the best way to beat Cancer.
Cancer lives on sugar. No sugar of any kind.
Even carrot juice has too much sugar in it.
Eat more raw food than cooked.
Our American diet is very bad. Get enough nutriion etc.
Unbelieveable young man who I am privileged to call my nephew!
Kyle your awesome, I love you man
This young man is an inspiration to not only the high school athlete, but to everyone. He is representing Cottonwood with integrity, class and maturity. Any college or university would benefit from this kid, and they would be lucky to have him. I wish him good luck in his future endeavors on and off the field.
This young man is an inspriation to high school kids and adults. He is representing Cottonwood with class, integrity and maturity. Any college or university would be extremely lucky to have him. Kyle, good luck to you in life and your future football endeavors.
Thats an amazing story. You guys have a great Football program and I hope for a good playoff game against you if we can make it in Region 4.
Kyle has always had that indescribable "it factor" that makes him extra special. I am so proud to say he is my nephew.
This guy you're calling an inspirtaion to high school students i call my cousin :)
kyle is one of my teammates and one of mybest friends he is a great kid, rolemodel for everyone around him! he always shows great attitude towards everything even when times are rough, i hope he has a great rest of the season and continues to be the young man he is
All the bozos posting on previous articles about how classless Cottonwood's program is, should read this article - hopefully it will change their perception.
Serious props to Kyle for being a good enough student to earn early admission to Yale, for being a solid football player who has the respect of his teammates and coaches, and particularly for being a caring, loving son and a young man who wants to make a difference in the world!
Go Colts!!
Kyle, what an inspiration not just to football, but to all high school athletes and non athletes. This is an amazing story.
To "Cancer Watcher" Cancer strikes all different ppl at all different times and many times for no reason at all. Don't come on here making it seem as though there were something that they could have done to prevent the cancer. More times than not Breast Cancer is Hereditary.
Again, Hats off to you Kyle, you are an inspiration. You remind me of a young man who used to attend our school. Travis Taylor.
Good Luck Cottonwood
I know there are a lot more kids like Kyle out there and hopefully His example will help open the floodgates of service out of these young men. Well Done Kyle.
Way to go Kyle! You are an inspiration to many people, myself included. Thanks to Des News for this story.
Amazing family in more ways than one!!!
this is an awesome story congrats kyle that is awesome. i will be one to call and donate money. if you deny that cottonwood has been unclassy at least 5 0r 6 out of the last ten years you would be lying to yourself. but this is an awesome way to getting on the right track and showing your Program is improving
Kyle is nothing short of a spectacular young man. He comes from an outstanding family. We love the Abertons!
Way to go Kyle! love you kyle Mark Ash and Laura!! You guys are the best! :)
Kyle, you are awesome. The world needs more kids like you. My dad died from skin cancer, so I really appreciate what you are doing.
Kyle, you are my son's inspiration and now I know why! He looks up to you as someone he aspires to be like (he is a sophomore now). His Grandma also had breast cancer and we are all strong supporters of breast cancer awareness. We will all be there routing you on and supporting your cause. Way to show the class that our Cottonwood program is all about!
