Peace Now

War jet pilots for Jesus? Is that the message here? Christ taught peace and told us to turn the other cheek, not make war.

This man is one of the best things that ever happened to the LDS church.

I like this Deiter Man, I hope someday he will be the prophet.

Hey Peace now, youre right, with one exception, Jesus said no greater love has a man than to lay down his life for his friend. Individuals and nations have the right to defend themselves. War is justified, when defending ones self and ones freedom. WWII is a good example.

I wonder how the rest of the Utah LDS population feels about a liberal Socialist being not only an Apostle, but in the First Presidency as well.

I'm a liberal member, and having Pres. Uchtdorf is the best thing that has happened to the "World-wide" church since John Taylor and other immigrant leaders brought their life's experiences to these valleys 150 years ago!

His insight from outside the little Utah bubble knot-hole view of the world was Heaven sent.

why would you call him a "liberal socialist" he is an Apostle of God, and was called by a Prophet of God.

Kimbell Clarkson

Non-american born apostles will be damaging to the Church. I think we need to be very careful as the Church grows and the Apostles are Chosen. God forbid the Prophet will be a foriegner some day. This would not be a good reflection on the hard working Saints in Utah. The callings should be based on worthiness an not trying to bring people in who don't deserve it. It is up to Heavenly Father but I know this is a hot topic among many that I know.
