For such a harsh review, you certainly did very little reviewing. Well over half of your article is a summary of the plot and description of its parental rating.
I thought it was a pretty good movie. Not the best, but pretty good. It presented the dystopic ramifications of an over-indulgent society that is allowed unlimited self-gratification. I mean, seriously, that was the major moral arc of what is essentially a futuristic detective movie and this reviewer is talking about hairpieces.
I give this review "two thumbs down" for its ineptness.
What Vice hates we almost always enjoy!
I'm glad to say that I am now in a point in my life where I trust Jeff Vice when he reviews movies. If he says the movie is one of the worst ever, believe I know he's over-indulging or embillishing in any shape, way or form. Keep doing like you do Jeff!
While offering no disrespect to Jeff Vice as a person, I find that my opinions are almost always diametrically opposed to his. I thought this was a smart, entertaining and well-done show that asked all the right questions about a future that is not so far-fetched.
I like Jeff Vice, but he was wrong about the movie. It was a good movie, and is deffinitly worth seeing.
It was a very poor film, despite having a lot of promise. I nearly fell asleep half way through. The worst part is that I didn't.
I enjoyed the movie. It did raise some questions, such as how everyone could afford the high-tech pieces of equipment when today not everyone owns a computer, but overall it had a good plot and a interesting look.
I am not a sci-fi lover, but I am a Bruce Willis fan. I totally enjoyed the movie while I was watching it. Only later did I think, "Hey! How come the people who most valued being human were Yahoo/redneck/cultist types?" Oh well, it's only a movie.
As previously stated, there wasn't much support on how and why this movie was awful. The movie was way better than this review, and i didn't exactly enjoy the movie.
Had Jeff Vice spent less time hating this movie, he might have perceived its meaning. The promise of utopia, whether attempted by government or technology, will always end in death. Give it another look, Jeff, and stay awake this time.
The only wrong with this review is that I think one star was too generous. Don't waste your time with this one.
I agree with Ray's comment. He describes the message of the plot well. I liked this movie. I thought it was interesting. Is it the best movie I have ever seen? No. Was it entertaining? Yep!
