Look at the extension on that kick! Does Herbert have any eligibility left at the Y? If so, look out Mitch Payne: The Governor might take your job...

Sad to see our old towns going away.

And I disagree with the statement that most of the growth is from within...most of Eagle Mt and Saratoga Springs is from out of state and a good chunk of Lehi is that way too. There is no way that a 10k resident Lehi from 1990 is supporting an 8 year growth of 30k plus residents. My Lehi graduating class of 190 would only contribute 190 homes, not the 7500 homes that would support the 30k number. Sounds like the Gov's office needs to do more research before giving him facts to spout at news conferences.

Less than half of my 30 home in-town Lehi neighborhood has any north Utah County ties and that number has got to get worse the further from town you get.

Sniff -

The growth isn't intra-city. It's from intra-county. Provo and Orem are mostly built out. That means their growth sprawls out into smaller areas... Springville, Lehi, etc.

People need places to live. Cities grow. There's no shortage of small towns along US-89 in central Utah that will be small forever.

"In our environmental work, we found recreational users use SR-92 frequently," said Dan Avila, UDOT deputy program director, referring to commuting cyclists, parents with strollers and in-line skating.

DUH.....The majority is in and out of the most popular canyon, American Fork Canyon!! I have yet to see a stroller being pushed along SR92 with all the traffic on it. Get Reall!!!
