So sad

it has been proven that the most dangerous part of the day with an atv is loading and unloading them especially from the bed of a pickup. the new on top of the bed racks are unbelievably high and make the possibility of rearing over backwards a real possibility because of the steepness of the ascent or decent.

Government??? | 9:24 a.m. Sept. 23, 2009
This guy obviously made a error in judgement and there was an accident that was fatal-- It's a horrible thing to have happen and the circumstances were worse than bad for the son but why would you want to get the Government involved???
We need less government in our daily lives, not more.

Get a clue Clem. We need to take responsibility for our actions and safety. We do NOT need the government involved from the time we rise from bed until we return. This man just made a slight error in judgement that had huge, horrific, sad consequences. The government has zero bearing or consideration in this matter. Be accountable.

theres a place for government involvement for those that are too stupid to figure things out for themselves.... wear a helmet for example. (actually i dont care whether you do or not... but it always seems that i have to pay for stupid people in my insurance premiums so thats a place for it becuase it saves me money)

this however is not a place for it. things happen. i was crushed by an atv and i was the only person taking the risk... not the goverment. this is the opinion of a democrat by the way.

Shocked | 8:41 a.m. Sept. 24, 2009
My wife an I were shocked to hear this very tragic accident. This man lived for the outdoors. The only thing that came before hunting was his family and the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Speaking as a neighbor we will miss him. And to the family may God be with you. You're in our prayers.

I knew this family from back in High School. I am sorry to hear this sad news. I hope everyone will support each other in this time of grief. Thoughts and prayers are with the family.
