Salt Lake City officials look to bridge gap on funding for viaduct

Has the city taken into account the loss of funds resulting when the viaduct is closed for rebuilding? Perhaps the Salt Lake City/Salt Lake Police Department Revenue enhancement team will have to relocate from the area west of the viaduct where they ticket drivers whose automobiles naturally gain a little speed as they descend the west area of the viaduct!

As a former Rose Park resident, it's nice to see that the Salt Lake City Council is still trying to do something for the Northwest Quadrant finally. After the Gateway fiasco that put millions of dollars into exclusive, luxury shopping that serves the majority of East Side residents. Better service and access between the Northwest Quadrant and downtown and the rest of the City will be nice taxpayer benefit that the Rose Park community truly deserves. They've waiting long enough.
