I do not care what region you play in, going 13-0 is a very impressive feat to
accomplish. My hat is off to your team and your program. I think the
competition in each region just gets better and better each year, which is a
credit to the continued rise of soccer in Utah. Job well done Leopards. The
state tourney shold be full of fireworks this year.

East and Alta are in different classes, so they will not meet in the playoffs.
The debate will go on as to which team is better, but as Bonneville proved last
year, ANY team can get hot and win. Right now, East is best until proven
otherwise, but several 4A teams are having great seasons. State is just three
weeks away--Alta should be right in the hunt again.

East definitely deserves the number one spot, but Alta will be playing in the 5A
state finals once again. I would love to see these 2 teams play. I just think
East plays with more heart and teamwork. Too bad the best in 4A and 5A
don't play each other. East has a few key injuries, but keep winning.
Alta really has not lost in Utah either (other than to those 2 california
games). Davis could be as good as everyone is saying.

How did the WX fare against East? Keep dreaming, the only trophies WX has
within a mile are all of the customer service satisfaction awards at the car
dealers.

I am an East alum. I have enjoyed following the Leopards. But to say
"enough said" is an invitation to disaster. Keep your heads about you
for the tourny. It would be nice to see at least one team at East do well this
year.

East should be proud of their record but they will have a dogfight at state.
Bonneville will be a tough out at state and right now Sky View is playing as
well as anyone. 4A has about 5 teams that could get hot and win it all.

East alum? Be happy with the 13 wins Mr/Ms. HandWringing Raincloud. 13-0-0 means
they had 13 games and won 13 times, there is nothing else to talk about, note
above references to tourny or East playing Alta. The 13 wins don't
contemplate or think about the tourny (or playing Alta), because East plays WX
on Thursday, that's the next game. By the way, no matter what happens in
the tourny, the team has "done well this year".

Hey East fans! You act like you have won the state title all ready because your
record is 13-0. And then you are calling out Alta who has actually won a state
title before. My perdiction is that you will not win the 4-A title.

So you can't let East fans be happy about an undefeated season up to this
point? We are just excited about it. There are a lot of great 4A teams out
there, and East will have a tough time in the playoffs, we are young, but play
with a lot of passion. It will be fun to watch and hopefully the best team will
win!

Woods Cross has struggled a little lately due to the fact their best player has
been out with an injury. Once she gets back into the lineup the Cats will be as
good as anyone.

Hey East fans! You know how many times that I have heard the argument that you
are a young team? Everyone has young players that play on the varsity team.
You're not the only ones that have young players. And as for you guys just
being happy for yourselves that is fine but stop calling out Alta who has won
state the last 3 years in a row. Yes I agree with you, HOPEFULLY the best 4-A
team will win. That is exactly what I put in my first comment.

I've got a clue for you, EAST is the best team in 4A right now. One person
called out Alta, and wouldn't you like to see that game? I hope that
whoever you root for gets there butt kicked by East like everyone else they have
played this year.

Hey East Fans! Let's look at who you played in preseason, Snow Canyon,
Dixie, West, and Mountain View. WOW! We should give you the state title for
playing those guys. Those teams combined record was 21 wins, 21 losses, and 10
ties. Powerhouses! Let's look at Alta's preseason, Riverton,
Skyview, Montgomery Cal.,and Maria Carrillo Cal. Their combined record is 32
wins, 11 losses, and 0 ties. If there is one thing I know how to spell is: YOU
WILL NOT WIN STATE.

Hey Alta fan, go to a different forum. There are plenty of places where people
agree with you that Alta is good. Alta will be lucky to win State in 5A with
their unimpressive wins this season. Don't be jealous, we will let you look
at the Championship trophy. Well probably not, cause you will be home writing
negative comments on these forums.

They wouldn't be half as good without the Gibbs girl on the team. She is
the best player in the program - hands down. She is a huge part of the Leopards
being undefeated. Way to go Gibbs - I am proud of you.

Hey East Fans! Gather round its time for another soccer education moment. Three
overtime wins and you think that is impressive? Wait till you get to the
playoffs. Region 7 is much better than you guys. And as for Alta being
vulnerable? Do you expect them to win 10-0 every game in the hardest 5A region
in the state? If East was in our region, they wouldn't even make the
playoffs. Just be thankful you are in 4A but as I said before, you will not win
state so enjoy your victories now!

Congrats East for a great season. The game was great in overtime yesterday with
a score in the last 50 of OT with the scorer 4 feet offsides.
