This is a nice introduction to Utah's first lady, although I'm sure that she intends to focus on the benefits of Learning rather than "making sure children are leaning at a young age."
I am very impressed with our new first lady. Although I have never met her, my first impressions are very positive. She seems like someone I can really relate to. I think we are in very good hands with the Herbert's.
It's just been fun to see our neightbors move to SLC, but as of most weeks we see them at our church here in Orem. We are very proud of the Herbert family. At election time, as a voting judge, we had a contest of which large family would all get out to vote. and every single time the Herbert family won, even when Brad showed up, I teased him that he was too young to vote, but soon after he left on an LDS mission. It was great to have them attend out nightborhood "Cul-de-sac of Fire" this year. and to top it all off was for Carmen to sing the Stars Spangled Banner. thanks guys
