Todd Taylor has an IQ of a snow pea! If a legitimate thought ever went thru his head it would be the fastest trip thru North America! What does he know?Does he come down south and talk to anyone? No!
Do you how to tell when someone like this is lying? When their mouth moves!Never trust what a politician says or their mouth piece.

Your post is the perfect example of incivility. Thanks for the illustration, lol !

The harsh rhetoric was always present against the Bush administration. Very repulsive, outrageous things were said of Bush. It was very personal. Not just against Bush policies, but very personal attacks. The Media was also part of this attack.
Now because people stand up to possible problems with the policies of Pres. Obama there is less civility ? Oh my....look who is calling the kettle black.

David B: Are your comments based on Taylor criticizing Rush or the fact that he is a Democrat? I didn't notice anything partIcularly indicative of illigitamate thought in his comments. However, your tactic of resorting to name calling underscores the very root of this issue and demonstrates how political dialog and civil discourse are being eroded.

Thanks for perfectly demonstrating the point of the article!

I doubt I could have come up with a less civil comment if I tried!

IQ of a snow pea? You offend all snow peas. And Democrats fascination with Rush Limbaugh is just mind boggling. If liberals get a hang nail, they either blame Bush or Rush.

If, and it is a big if nationally, you do gain control of a arm of government the old saying, What goes around comes around.

"Indeed, leaders of both the Utah Republican and Democratic parties say they aren't so sure that the political tone in America, or Utah, has gotten much worse than half a decade ago."

If both parties truly believe there's not much change in the political tone in America, then they're in deep denial, and/or, are burying their heads in the sand.

Most everyone I talk to on the subject of Obama, his administration, and his healthcare plan, are enraged! And they have every right to be! Bush doesn't hold a candle to Obama, when it comes to the path he's put us on. Neither party is worthy of our loyalty. Our economy is all but doomed; and our Constitution is nearly "hanging from a thread". Virtually every thing Obama has done, has been a giant step towards total Socialism. And I fear there's no reversing it.

So there are really only two parts of the US that are still followers of the increasingly right-wing failed policies of the Republicans: the failed-states of the old Confederacy and Mormon Country.

It is interesting that the LDS have cast their lot with the "morality" of the South.

IT's the FAR LEFT that is FAILING, the wide majority are rejecting the radical left philosophies and agenda and divisiveness of Obama and his FAR LEFT cohorts.
Utahns are so funny | 5:49 p.m. Sept. 20, 2009
They think their right wing extremist views are mainstream. Newsflash people, America is a center-LEFT nation. The PEOPLE were heard, and they voted to put liberals in charge. The wild radical views of groups like the Heritage Foundation or the Patrick Henry Caucus do not represent the majority of America.
The biggest difference | 5:51 p.m. Sept. 20, 2009
between those critical of Bush vs those critical of Obama is those who criticized Bush were right.

@ 3:31: The states that are at the bottom of the rung in terms of education attainment, life expectancy, poverty rates, infant mortality rates, teenage pregnancy, divorce rates, GDP etc etc are Southern States.

Only in your own muddled and narrow mind are you are living in some right-wing utopia -- but if you want to compare objective statistics with the real world - you and your southern friends are abject failures.

Eight years of Republican rule literally BROKE the world. Financial systems were on the verge of collapse - Cheney wanted to start a THIRD war... and some of you are still so dim whitted that when failure is presented to you in the most stark and dangerous terms you still cannot recognize it.

I am amazed that half of the people think the far-right are helpful in Utah. I think that the Gail Ruzikas and Chris Buttars of the world do a terrible disservice to civility; the same with Rocky Anderson on the far-left.
