and its offense could hold up against a legitimate 5-A opponent. The answer seems to be NO. Again, this time of offense takes a lot of work and practice time. It has been high flying and exciting to its fans but WJ's defense and special teams have been suspect all season long even giving up 28 first half points to Provo two weeks back. Can WJ stand up to Bingham and even Riverton and a play-off game with a Region 4 opponent. With Brighton taking out Alta and Lone Peak taking out Brighton it doesn't seem likely.

Maybe next year WJ can schedule some 2A teams for their first 5 games. Heck....move to 2A, you may have a chance. Wow....knew it was coming.

Pleasant Grove has the worst uniforms in the state. U G L Y. The blue of their helmet doesn't even match the blue of their uniforms. Hopefully the parents and boosters can get together and raise some funds for some decent looking uniforms. They play good, but look awful.

And yes, their uniforms are uglier than Davis'

A few adjustments and lets keep improving for a run in Region. We were clearly beaten. The Lloyd QB was the best I have seen. Not only was he big-but he made everyone look like they were in slow motion. He had something like 5 TD's in 3 qtrs. Adam threw the ball well on them. We just need to work on the D, and not give up the big plays, and we will be fine.

Heard all the same stuff from 5-0 WJ, but playing Provo or Box Elder is a LOT different than a real 5A team. Bingham woke the delusional fans up last year and PG did it this year.

PG is a stacked team and was a good test to see where West Jordan has to be to compete in the playoffs.

That game didn't mean anything other than West Jordan needs to improve.

Focus on this weeks region game against Riverton.

This is the big one.

you new this was going to happen,it does every year.We hear the same old things you win a couple of games and your going to be the team too beat,state contenders and the whole nine yards.too bad too sad maybe next year.Wait until bingham ohhh man thats going to be ugly.

Yup Ugly Uniforms?....To the tune of the only undeafeated 5A team in the State.......be lucky the Staff has class and pulled thier guys after 2 1/2 qtrs. They could have hung 65 on you...

All I heard on facebook last week was how well South Jordan was doing. They have the number one offense in the state? Wow! I have to agree that they must really need to schedule somebody worth playing for their preseason. Oh well, we wouldn't expect anything more from the Jags.

why do people say it happens EVERY YEAR... it happened once last year? when did it ever happen besides that. WJ has always been an average team. they beat average teams and cant beat powerhouses. they do have a lot of talent and will hopefully improve in the next weeks

I agree, PG really needs new helmets. It looks horrible to have a helmet that is a different blue than the rest of your uniform. The uniforms aren't bad they just need new helmets.

PG was convincing, but it was nice to see the Jags quarterback still throw for 300 yards. Work on a few things (cut down on interceptions, kudos to pg on forcing those) and they will be a very good team. Still a lot of games left before the playoffs. The state champ is rarely the 'best' team after 4 games

but nothing can top the lime green ones of Provo with the darker green helmet. In both cases the boys are playing tough despite the choice in fashion.

Is that all you have is ugly uniform smack. WJ got alot of the passing yards in the fourth quarter when the PG starters were pulled. WJ try mixing in another play besides throwing a lazer screen to 45 and letting him run for 3 yards.

why is everyone all over the jags for there pre seson games the only bad team they have played is granger in week one 2 of there 4 pre seson games so for are have winning records and are one of the best teams in 5a pg and 4a provo and east in years past has been one of the better teams in 4a and dont forget pg was a pre seson game so are you calling that a week team?


pg has a great team and will be there in the end, but the pg fans need to grow up and act like you have been there before and have some class.

WJ you will still have a great year keep up the good work.
