Great win Jordan! And thanks to the writer for not using a "Jordan Shows Hart" pun. That would've been tacky, but expected.
What a game that was last night, too bad we had to end up on the short end of the stick. I firmly believe that AF should have won this game, they just lost the battle with mental errors and coaching mistakes. Alex Hart played phenomenal for Jordan, but one thing is for sure, Chase Hansen, the soph QB for AF is for real. He made some absolutely fantastic plays last with his arm and his legs, and looked as poised as a senior QB out there. Hats off to both teams, one of the best games I've ever seen.
That game last night was great they rallied from a 29-14 deficit and won it 43-42 next up Hill Crest I think it'll be an easy win for Jordan GO DIGGERS!
Hey DNews, are we not counting the Alta game last week as a region game? C'mon! Get the facts straight!
This game showed me a lot. It showed me that neither team is a contendor. It was a good game, but look for one of these teams to finish 4th and be one and done at state.
Great game..by far the most exciting game I have seen in a long time. The refs were TERRIBLE.. Thought both teams had their ups and downs. As for the first comment.. Hart plays with shear determination and will to win. He is excellant at wanting the win and lead the team to an exciting come from behind victory. I think the headline should have included a comment about his heart. Several players seemed to have given up long before the clock did.
Will both miss out on the playoffs
I am not sure which game you were watching, but the refs did a very good job. If you think you could do have done better, then I am sure that they are accepting applications for refs. If not, then perhaps I would suggest that you actually read a rule book. I am sure that the refs would appreciate some constructive criticism, but only from one that is qualified to make, and it is obvious that you are not qualified to make such comments.
Both teams played hard but had a lot of mental mistakes. Both coaching staffs made some mistakes as well. Otherwise it was a very exciting game and the better team in the end made one more play to win it.
Jordan has given up the 2nd most points in 5A. The only team worse is Granger which is 1 win 4 losses.
Jordan is lucky to be 3 - 2 with a defense that gives up that many points.
Play your best players!!! (Only if you want to win)
I agree that they need to play the best players but more importantly take a look at the play calling and coverage (it's SO easy for an offense to read and beat)! C'mon coaches step it up!!
The defense has been that way for years.
Ty spillman is the Man!!!!
i thought jordans andrew gorringe has really stepped it up. all those knockout like hits he puts on. keep going andrew do it for your grandma chelsey!
