HOV tolls to increase during rush hour

Welcome to the 21st century, Utah.

It only takes one inconsiderate person to clog the HOV lane for miles. If traffic in the lane is not going faster than the regular lanes it is not worth it. I would demand a refund.

What an awful system. People pay gas taxes so there shouldn't be HOV lanes.

...and how about the fools darting in and out of HOV, "leapfrogging" ahead of regular drivers? I've had numerous near-misses by idiots zipping in front of me at 100+ speeds, only to dart back out of HOV when they got ahead of the "slower" (also speeding) 85-90 mph drivers?
These tolls are a rip-off, and unnecessary - Since it's really all about money, get photo radar installed for Ogden to Provo I-15, and watch the millions roll in! Maybe the speeding fools would finally "GET IT", when they have to send in a hefty fine, or appear in court and/or risk losing their licenses!
I-15 from Ogden to Provo is the worst stretch of road I have ever driven - the speeders are insane. It will take more than an extra toll charge to fix the problems! Good Luck, and drive nice!!

You should try driving in the proper legal lane. The right lane. That way your problem would cease to exist.

do you define slow traffic as traffic that is ACTUALLY doing the speed limit. Since I've been in Utah I've noticed that Citizens of this state seem to take the speed limit as a mere suggestion rather than the law. Anybody else notice that?
