We love you President Packer! Happy Birthday!
I once saw President Packer walking down East Temple. He had a contagious smile. Totally unpretentious. What an example of having received his image in in his countenances?
Alma 5: 14, 19
14 And now behold, I ask of you, my brethren of the church, have ye spiritually been born of God? Have ye received his image in your countenances? Have ye experienced this mighty change in your hearts?
19 I say unto you, can ye look up to God at that day with a pure heart and clean hands? I say unto you, can you look up, having the image of God engraven upon your countenances?
Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to yooooo, Happy birthday dear President Packer, Happpy birthday to yooooooo! I have a greeting in a song that I wrote just for you. Email and I will forward it to you. ernesthemple@yahoo.com Have a wonderful birthday.

We wish all the best!
Oh, we sure do love your President Packer. We wish you a beautiful and warm Happy Birthday. What a positive impact you have had on our lives with your wisdom, love and testimony. I've said many times I wish I could keep you from growing older. I remember as a little girl your speaking and I always knew who you were. I could tell just by your voice. I hope it will be the Lord's will that you will be healthy enough, mentally strong to remain with us for a few more years. We love you and thank you for being the christ-like example we need as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The days pass slowly but the years pass quickly, Thank you President Packer for all the inspired instruction and counsel you have given and the volumes of truth you leave to the Church and the world. My life has been been profoundly blessed by your ministry and example.
I love to be taught by you. I hope you have a wonderful birthday with your lovely wife and wonderful family. Thanks for your many years of service. Sharon Christensen
All best wishes on your 85th birthday,I join with the entire membership of the church in wishing you continued good health and we look forward to your continued inspired counsel and leadership.
That's fun. My cousin is married to one of his grandchildren, and is mother of one of his great-grandchildren. Always nice to hear just how down-to-earth these guys are.
Happy Birthday President Packer!!
I especially like your comment that the study and incorporation of the Gospel can change and improve Behavior Much More than a "study" of Behavior can.
I'm sure that's a paraphrase, but I think that I got the essence: that the Gospel and getting the Lord into one's life will improve one's lifestyle and attitude Much More than all of the various "man made" philosphies and theories.
When I read this birthday article; I marvelled at how much someone I have never met has taught me so much.
Growing up in a part memeber family - his talks taught me during my mission and in the quarter of century since that time.
As a master teacher - he makes complex issues simple.
Thank you for teaching me...even though we've never met.
