Ducks don't have a chance. Get in and represent. I don't understand why they are favored no matter how tough the crowd is a team ranked 20+ spots above should be favored
BTW, BYU is going to beat down FSU
"Ducks don't have a chance."
...I agree.
"BTW, BYU is going to beat down FSU"
Oh, and I agree.
Signed,
Utah fan
I have a suspicion that the Utes have "SAVED" a lot of their offensive playbook for this Oregon game. Why would you show it against lowly Utah State and San Jose State? I think they knew they could "get by" these two teams with vanilla plays. Mark my words: you will see A LOT more offensive and different defensive schemes this week.
This will be a sad day for the MWC. Oregon by 25.
The Ducks continue to sport the ugliest uniforms in D1 football, they deserve a beat-down from all opponents, including the U. Go Utes.
I don't like the yucks. Utah REPRESENT! Utah controlling the run (the line) will prove difficult for Oregon to win this game. I predict another gritty win for the Utes similar to last week.
The Utes had better have the Ducks full attention. The MWC and the Utes are for real. The media has no idea what they are talking about when they favor the unranked Ducks to beat the #16 Utes. BCS bias is alive and well.
The Ducks' white uni's and helmets look way good!
Re: Do not agree
Sorry, but I watched the BSU vs Oregon game and came away decidedly unimpressed with Oregon's team. Besides Masoli the Ducks don't have any truly impressive players, at least none that I saw.
Could Oregon win the game? Yes, but it's unlikely.
The Utes respect their opponents but the days when Utah should FEAR a team like Oregon are long past.
There's only one team in the PAC-10 that Utah couldn't compete with and that's USC. And last time I looked they aren't on the schedule.
Utah 28 - Oregon 14
I agree with you. They have a dynamic offense but didn't really use it in those last two games. The only play that I thought they should have saved is the Asiata pass to Cain that he dropped in the end zone. That would be a good one for Oregon. They'll have some trick plays I'm sure. The other sweet one is when they all run up to the line and little Jereme Brooke takes the ball from under Cains legs around the end while the whole team runs right. That's the best! go utes!!
I would have to agree. Utah has gone vanilla in the first two games. They knew they would beat two lowely WAC teams with nothing more than athleticism, and they did. They'll open the playbook and win. I don't think they'll win by a lot, but they'll win
and BYU needs Utah to win on Saturday
What's good for the MWC is good for every team in the MWC.
Nothing would break down the barriers of BCS big boy elitist club faster than a MWC team running the table and playing in the BCS championship game.
Nothing would cause the whole system to be scrapped in favor of a playoff sytem faster than a non-AQ team winning the BCS championship.
True BYU and Utah will put aside their rivaly until November 28th and root for their rival in every game.
Go Utes!
and
Goooo COUGARS!
GO DUCKS!!
Here is one BYU fan that is cheering on the UTES! Good luck and take it to them. Smash 'em in the mouth!
Glad to see that YBU fans and Utah fans are on board with each winning their OOC games. As much as I hate BYU, I was pulling for them against Oklahoma, and now Florida state. I hope they give them a nice beat down. Oregon is all hype, and I have faith in our boys to make it 17. Once the conference games start the hate will resume and all will be right in this world. Go Utes and Go Zoobies.
Utah has a dynamic offensive system; the biggest question is is Cain capable of operating that system.
Utah dumbed down the system for Utah State and San Jose State, and even then, Utah was constantly making mistakes and shooting themselves in the football. The #12 offense in yardage is only the #45 offense in scoring because Utah has blown scoring opportunity after scoring opportunity with missed FG's, turnovers, and failed attempts inside the red zone.
The biggest question for Utah, is Cain capable of stepping it up and running the full package or will Utah have to continue dumbing down the offense and hoping their defense can keep them in games against teams like Oregon, Air Force, Colorado State, UNLV, TCU and BYU?
The first big test comes tomorrow in Eugene.
Will Cain pass or fail?
The Utes really need to star playing better ball. Last week they didn't show it so they really need to bring it this week. GO UTES!!!!!!!!
I would like the utes to win but i don't think they will cause their last weeks game vs san jose they having trouble with them so i have the ducks winning big
Hey I'm a BYU fan but good luck anyway!!!
To see mutual respect from Y and U fans this year is refreshing. Finally everybody gets it. For the conference to succeed both teams need to win. This has been a great run for the Utes, the MWC, and for non AQ teams in general.
Fun to see the BcS exposed for what it is.
Go Utes, and go Cougars!
