Wyoming is also the land of the Jackson billionares.

No state income tax and lots of money for schools, thanks to a huge mineral severance tax income.

Lots of money for public education but I don't think Wyoming kids are any smarter than Utah kids.

The author saw Evantston from the perspective of someone from Utah, the liquor, gambling, horse racing, and fireworks. Evanston has a nice downtown historic district with a coffee shop, restaurants, and a brewery. It is an awarded leader in the Rocky Mountain region for its historic preservation and restoration efforts. The author missed the point that part of the museum was in the original Carnegie Library. He missed the 40,000 sq ft restored Union Pacific Machine Shop and the 24 bay UP roundhouse. Evanston is a favored weekend visit by many Utahns, perhaps he should have asked one of them what there was to do and see.
