Socialist

Orem is a socialist town and in violation of the US Constitution.

Supporter of Business

Seems like a good idea. If a business man is willing to invest millions into a community and create jobs as well as tax revenue, why not provide him incentive to do so?

Inequity

Way to go Orem, more inequity in Govt.

Why was there no mention of the legal troubles that doomed the former owners...they did some bad stuff moving cars around to hide sales. I'd bet that the dealer closing was more related to that than to the economy.

And if Bountiful Mazda decided that it wasn't worth the cost to open a dealership then the city should accept that and move on.

Orem = big, bad, immoral govt.

Mahonri

Open the dealerships on Sunday. This is why we go out of State to buy our cars... and get a PO Box and register out of State too. Take that, Utah taxation thieves!

Earl

It's throwing money down a black hole. Utterly foolish.

The Orem City Council needs to read a book called "The Proper Role of Government"
