if you watch the end of the game if stockton would have thrown the ball outside instead of to malone with a few seconds remaining we would have possibly won the championship as jordon stole the ball from malone. darn....
isn't it the story jordan was so sick he could not get out of bed in park city but what maybe a lie, he came out and went wild and scored 30-40 points and ya.... probly the jazz belived him and let down.
I have always loved John Stockton, the best overall true point guard in history, with Oscar Robertson being his closest competition for that title. John was the driving force (no pun intended) for so much of the good that happened for the Jazz. John and Jeff Hornacek are two of the most classy, consummate professionals I have ever witnessed firsthand in any sport.
Karl was an amazing worker, but I lost great respect for him as a person when he started whining about how much he was underpaid right in the middle of a finals run. If he had focused on his free throw shooting instead of his pocketbook, Utah would likely have a championship banner hanging in the rafters right now, with the MVP trophy in John's bookcase, of course...
Jerry also deserves his spot. He can look back on his career, knowing he always gave his best effort, despite all the second-guessing "experts" on the boards who would have won five championships by now...
Jordan Stockton And Sloan names that will be connected in basketball history! The battles where great and made for two great finals! The second time they met i really think the Jazz had the best team but the Bulls had the best player in the world! So they one and the rest so we say is history.Jordan broke alot of players hearts in that era!We were just at the wrong place and the wrong time. With that said these three are class act professionals all the way!Great Job!!!
