little faith

I had little faith that Byu would even come close, let alone legitimately beat the Sooners. That goal line stand was truly amazing.

Hey Utes

If getting "DRILLED" as all you ute fans predicted all week is something like this, well heres to getting drilled all year.

Can you hear me now? Because I can't see you standing in the dark of that big Y. . .

Moose on the loose

Lights out

BYU's Defense held the former Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradford to under 100 YARDS PASSING! That is absolutely incredible. Granted he only played 1 half but he was taken out of the game.

They are lucky the score wasn't higher. With or without Bradford, BYU was outmuscling them the whole way

OU had not even one sustained drive for a score of any kind. Their td was from inside the 35, the same for their field goal. Both of the Cougars' TDs were sustained drives. With 3:03 left and and with the ball on their own 40 to start a drive to win the game, they sputtered and had to kick a 54 yd field goal---short and wide to the left. Sure, they shot themselves in the foot all night but a team of their standing in the polls and with all that tradition going for them, they were flat out intimidated. BYU's defense had them stifled the whole game. Brandford's leadership could account for not a single sustained drive and his backup could do was no better. One of the sports writers for the Oklahoma City newspaper said "OU's offense stunk," and it was caused by the Cougar's defense.
Great win.

Just Lucky

BYU took 10 points off the board with mistakes. The score could have been 24-13.
