Good work boys.

Couldn't care less about BYU. Didn't even know they were playing tonight.

Altidore is a stud! Way to go US!! Nice to see that Beckerman was able to get in the game.

Great game, I am glad that they put the games on ESPN 360. It was silly that they took the third goal away. I wish that I could have been there. And why are we talking about BYU here? (I am a Utah Man through and through)

great game besides the stupid drunk el salvador fans that were dumping beer on us and waving their flags in our face up until we took the lead. But thank goodness they took the lid from my mtn dew bottle so i could injure somebody with it. What is that all about?

Take that El Salvador.

Too bad Bob Bradley has no idea how to use Altidore. Since there is no width on the US Altidore is constantly drifting wide when he needs to be a straight up #9.

Our defense made some poor decisions but we have some great players in Donovan, Dempsey, Altidore, Davies, and a couple of others that don't come to mind. Finally, some players that can take people one on one. US Soccer is solid and looking good.
How exciting! | 9:04 a.m. Sept. 6, 2009
Wow- did anybody except for the goalie touch the ball with their hands? I can't believe how tricky that is!
Great Night | 9:06 a.m. Sept. 6, 2009
Man was it a fun night at the RioT.
I suggest we get some of those fans to come out to RSL games cuz that atmposphere was a million times better than anything we have had here before.
Hate to break it to some of you guys, but Beckerman wont be getting another call-up after his performance last night. If El Salvador was better with their opportunities, he would be the blame for dropping the points late.

In the end though, US got 3 HUGE points. Sitting in second with Costa Rica now the bubble team, its going to be a crazy finish in CONCACAF.
We NEED to get all 3 down in T&T to solidify qualification for South Africa

First, Last night was excellent!!! El Salvador played a great match and their fans only added to what turned out to be a truly memorable soccer match at Rio Tinto.
U.S. deserved the 3 points by being the better team all night with the possible exception of the last 15 minutes.
What I am having trouble understanding is how FIFA can allow a offical crew from Honduras to oversee such a critical match in World Cup Qualifing??
Think which club would have most benifited from a El Salvador victory last night? Honduras!! and last nights overall officiating showed how badly these 3 officals wanted to see a certain outcome. I am still waiting to see how they explain calling back the U.S's 3rd goal.??
Anyway, Great Result! Great Crowd! Great night to watch "the beautiful game"

They took back that third goal because we hacked them in the box and the ref just didn't even call it. So basically it was a makeup call. I dont understand how such bad officials are allowed to continually ref these international games even when they are as consistently as bad as they are. Think if we are tied for the third spot at the end of qualifying and whoever gets in is whoever has more goals. Well that phanton call might come back to haunt us!!

We need to win the rest of our games to be safe
3rd goal | 10:52 a.m. Sept. 7, 2009
The third goal call back was a horrible call. There was no foul. The officiating was terrible. Every time El Salvador was even touched they fell down. The officiating was so pro-El Salvador it was incredible. I mean at least make a little effort to make it look fair. By the way we never hacked them in the box. I was 15 yards away the one call you are referring to. It was a horrible dive on the El Salvador player. He should have been yellow carded for such a pathetic display. At least that was the one time in the game the official didn't fall for the flop.
