Donko said of being selected "I don't think it was a random selection, I don't think it was an accident that we were picked." Of course it wasn't an accident Oklahoma needed an overrated and over-ranked cream puff that they could destroy and in the process make a lot of money for doing so.
You know for representing BYU the coach is not to bright.
Your obsession with (and jealousy of) the Cougar football team is simply embarrassing. Go back to bed and work on sleeping off that hangover.
Learn the difference between to, too, and two. You, too, are not too bright. And Bronco has led his team to 3 straight successful seasons. Much better than most other programs in the country that vacillate between mediocrity and success. I like BYU's chances tonight.
thanks for the first inferiority complex posting of the day. What's wrong not feeling to good about yourself? Poor little ute...you have a good team and you're still have a rain cloud over your head.
Not so bright yourself, Awesome. "the coach is not TOO bright." Takes one to know one.
Hey awesome - GET A LIFE!!!
The "little brother complex" is going to be at an all time high, today.
Sorry, Yewties. You weren't good enough for this one, face it.
BTW, great win on Thursday. I was especially happy with how overrated your defense looked.
Do a little research and you will find that BYU was contacted about this game LONG before Oklahoma even agreed to play. They were one of a handful of teams they were considering.
Speaking of "not to bright" the correct English is "not TOO bright." Duh
Not so "Awesome"....
Figures that a Ute Troll is first to comment on this article.
Your use of name calling and obvious innaccuracies make your post exactly what it is... a poor reflection upon you. The national media understands very well why BYU is in the game and they are completely at odds with your sorry attempt at a rivalry stab.
Donko? Please. It's high time to matriculate from 5th grade isn't it?!
The self-proclaimed "Awesome" must have an ego that can been seen in its entirety only from the air, giving him a sense of superiority which he projects on to everything that is not the University of Utah.
I notice the U didn't go out of its way to schedule a ranked opponent to begin its season. Utah State provided a good scrimmage.
The AP top 25 has BYU at number 20. How could those idiots rank BYU at 20 when it's a cream puff? Wait, they're not idiots, they have the U ranked at number 19. Or are they? Isn't the U still number one after defeating Alabama?
I don't expect BYU to win against Oklahoma. I wouldn't expect the U to win either. However, any MWC team playing a ranked team from a BCS conference needs to win so that MWC teams have a better shot at BCS bowls.
So the rivalry has come down to spelling lessons... wow... How do you spell pathetic? Hmmmm... I'm thinking it starts with UFan...
That stadium is gonna be SO SWEET!!! Oh, by the way... How was the Aggie stadium??? LOL
we are being set-up already for tomorrow's posts.
"it was a moral victory because at least we didn't play a cream puff"
Hey Y fans...BEAT a dang ranked team...PLEASE!!! Pita said that they were not practicing any different, that it was just another game. That is why BYU can't beat a good team or get up for a big game.
This game will be a good measuring stick for the Cougars to see where they're at and how much more they need to do to get the team to where they want to be.
It's just like yootah's game against USU was a good measuring stick for them. They confirmed they have fast defenders when some of them chased USU's running back the length of the field and into the endzone, almost making up ground on him. And it was also a measuring stick when USU kept yootah from scoring from the 1 yard line. Four attempts in a row and they couldn't get in! Must have felt like the times they applied for admission to BYU.
Congragulations on your victory over BYU. Go Sooners!!
Hey Nostradamus, you spell about as well you predict the future. Go COUG'S! 14-13!
