I think it is a great Ideal natural gas lines are in just about every city and small town in America.There need be some tax benefit to convert the reasion no one is converting is because their is a 10,000.00 permit fee to work on natural gas engens.Lets move to natural gas stop sending money to people that want to kill Americans.This is a change I belive in get it done plant the tree now oil is 12.00 per btu natural gas is 3.00 per mcf

Aren't the infrastructure issues you mention similar to other energy options (wind, solar, high speed trains, etc.)? As I understand Pickens, he is for multiple approaches. Also, you don't seem to mention the successful uses of liquid gas already being used for vehicles, in major ways (eg buses in Downtown Denver). Perhaps we should just wait for the government to find a solution while we nit pick private entrepreneural suggestions like Pickens?

Pickens has STOPPED his wind energy plan,

as too expensive, unpractical, and inefficent.

I love my natural gas Chevy. I buy fuel for 98 cents a gallon, the fuel burns so clean most engines last twice as long with fewer oil changes.

Utah gave me a $3000 tax credit and that clean burning engine does not make as much smog.

The conversion is a simple and I can switch and burn gasoline when I can't find a CNG station. The technology for cars is here now.

Useing natural gas and coal gasification (using clean coal technology that we should have had by now) and we can be energy independent for 500 years.
