Boca played under the captaincy of Brian McBride at Fulham. The Yanks have a pretty good run of players signing with Fulham - Boca, McBride, Dempsey, Eddie Johnson, and Kasey Keller. Go Boca and USA!
I wish the BYU was on at a different time, but I wouldn't miss going to this.
Bocanegra needs to step up big on Saturday. With Onyewu out due to suspension and DeMerit possibly injured our back line is weak.
How is Bocanegra the captain? He was terrible against Mexico. I thought he was the worst guy on the pitch that day. As much as it pains me to say it Landon should be the captain. He leads waaaaay more than Bocanegra. No offense, maybe he just had a bad game but it was really bad.
Bocanegra is a solid defender. I've never seen him have a bad game.
