If I remember correctly, he was up against Max Hall for the starting job at BYU in 2007 and then during the Blue and White game he suffered a season ending injury. Hall had been named the starter and since he would be sitting out anyway, he transferred to Oregon. Don't think he did much if anything at Oregon. Cade is an awesome QB and I was bummed to not have seen him play for the Cougars.

Broke his foot at BYU, transferred to Oregon, then transferred to SUU.

His last game was in Dec. of 2006, so nearly three years. From Snow he went to BYU, got hurt in the spring of 2007, transferred to Oregon because he saw the writing on the wall with Max Hall at BYU. He redshirted that season (2007) at Oregon. Again saw he wasn't going to see the field, so he transferred to SUU, where he had to sit out a year for transferring again, so here we are in the fall of 2009 and he hasn't played a game in almost three years. He also served a mission before Snow, so he turns 27 later this month.

Should have went to utah state after byu. They offered him a scholarship. Just think what he could have done with utah state. But I am happy he went to suu. Maybe he can help turn around that program? Go Birds and Go Aggies

You're kidding yourself.

SUU is going to destroy Dixie. It is not going to be pretty. SUU is a Division I FBS team and has been much better recently.

Every time Dixie has played an FBS team, the game has been over by halftime.

Don't forget, Dixie lost to Northern Arizona 66-14 a few years ago. SUU nearly beat NAU last year.

When Dixie played Weber, the final was 44-7. That was before Weber was good, when SUU and Weber were on a similar talent level.

In 2007, Montana State beat Dixie 66-7. That same year, an 0-11 SUU team lost 7-0 to Montana State and were an interception in the end zone away from tying the game.

This game will not even be close. Go T-BIRDS!

Looks like SUU actually lost that game 7-3. So if they scored on that drive, they would have won the game.

I would love to see DSC pull off the upset, but I don't think they have much of a chance. We will see though. Go Rebels/whatever the new name is.
SUU/ Dixie | 1:00 p.m. Sept. 3, 2009
I have played at both schools because I played JC at Dixie then went to SUU. I think it is awesome they are playing each other and if Dixie can get to the 1-AA level, they could have a traveling partner to join a better conference with. That being said, I want SUU to win. I always considered myself a T-bird before being a Rebel (Red Storm is a lame name, sounds like a girls WNBA team

I was a little surprised to hear Dixie beat Adams State and also that they threw so well. I do think SUU will win even though they ar missing Tyson Pootes as well as their real starting running back. Austin was the 3rd string before injuries. Anyway, T-Birds should dominate. Looking forward to the San Diego St. game!!! Go Birds!!!

Southern Utah is not an FBS team. FBS stands for Football Bowl Sudivision, which Utah, Utah State and BYU are members of. SUU is an FCS team, which means Football Championship Subdivision (formerly Div 1-AA). They have no opportunity to play in a bowl game as the above mentioned teams do.

I'm glad SUU is going to finally shut up all of the trash talkers from Dixie that they are a superior football team year-in, year-out.

SUU 48, Dixie 17

You're right. That was my mistake. Sorry. It was a typo (I did my undergrad at SUU but am now a grad student at an FBS school so it was just a mistake).

Re: True T-Bird - How many SUU trash talkers are there compared to Dixie on this board? I know SUU should win this game and probably will destroy Dixie as they should. I think when DSC was a JR. college they could have beaten SUU because they had a lot of D-I players who needed to improve grades for NCAA rules.
Good luck SUU | 5:12 p.m. Sept. 3, 2009
Go t-birds, go cade! Hope they can start the season off well. They've got a good OC down there and hope he is successful with cooper at qb.
