The church would have had quite alot of chapels that would be 100 and older if the church had not torn so many down in the last 75 years. The church does not put much importance or value on old chapels it seems, they are just buildings. The church will raze a building no matter how old if it stands on ground needed for a temple or a conference center or some other huge building. I actually like this approach, the new modern buildings are special and unique. I am pleased with the 10th wards ability to stick around for 100 years, had it not been for the President Hinckley connection, it may well have been torn down as well.

This actually looks like a church instead of a basketball court with a meeting room attached to it. The LDS architecture has certainly fell back and looks very unispired in these latter days.

They are just buildings. When they fall down, they'll get replaced with modern structures. The historic architecture is of little benefit to anyone outside the SLC valley.
