BYU scholar Robert J. Matthews dies

In other words, he lacked the interaction and education from outside the BYU Bubble to qualify as a "scholar".
Sure, you are entitled to your opinions, but there's a time and place for things!!
The day after a person's death is NOT the proper time to say negative things.
First, he's still not around to defend himself. Second, by making negative/critical
type comments means that the deceased's Contributions are less important that what you are criticizing.
I know that it's fashionable for some to post negative comments on these boards, but after a death >> it is really quite dis-respectful and inappropriate.
My name is David too and I'm probably older that you. Why not at least post
an initial or something after a name as common as "David" to make sure that all of us "David's" don't get lumped together??
Have a good Day and Do try to learn the lesson that Thumper taught, "If you don't have anything good to say, just don't say anything at all".
Thumper had at least taught the basics of good manners.
David P.
