Ms. DeCoster writes about politics, but also stays fit through exercise.

    Does that alleviate your confusion?

Just another name and just another fitness trend with another name for "be active and healthy and do what you enjoy but don't use your own brain and follow you own interests...do what somebody else tells you" C'mon people we aren't falling for another "fitness" "program" are we?!

Blake- thanks for the info. Functional fitness sounds fun but I'm at work at that time-far from downtown. Do you have any more info so I could apply it on my own?

HOOORAY!!! Functional Fitness reaches UT! If anyone wants to join us and see what a functional training program is like we workout tues and thurs 3pm in downtown SLC at the park on the corner of N Temple and N State kiddie corner to the LDS Office Building. Getting in shape doesn't have to be limited to just a gym, take Karen for example, she does hurdles over constuction signs!!

the link to her website is either bad or it is another Karen DeCoster's site as it says nothing abouut fitness, but is instead all about politics.

    for a libertarian-leaning web site I can't name here.

But Google her name and you'll find it.
