Bountiful Football

Good job Braves!

Just Me

Braves are Davis County's Best and Best team in 4A

Dons Fan

Game was closer than it seemed. Tough defenses.Bountiful is a class act for real. Is Heimuli in this pic any relation to Brighton, Highland, Mt View Heimulis?

MC fan

It sounds and looks like the braves are one of the best is 4a not Mountain Crest. As long as somebody beats Timpview this year that is all I care about. Good job Bountiful.

Dons Fan

A much closer game than it sounds. Just a few things to tighten up. Bountiful coach and team a class act for real. The Heimuli in this pic...any relation to Highland, Brighton, Mt View Heimulis? He's a hard hitter.

Fan

Go braves!!! Great game!

REEEEAAAADDDYYY!!!

Stay focused on your season GOALS, a hell of lot of football left to play! Improve each week! BRAVES! BRAVES! BRAVES!

The game was actually closer

to 42-7, than 35-7.

Closer

Closer than it seems? Ouch.

Go Dons!

The Don's defense played great, even though the final score didn't show it. They held Bountiful inside the 5, and forced a fumble. Uilli Makai and Michael Stone had at least 2 sacks, Richie Kunsman and Trevor Reynolds had a great game. The defense did their job, it was the offense who let the team down last night.

Alumni DONS

Bountiful plays hard. I think they could have knelt on the TD chance when SF gave them the ball with 90 sec inside the 20 and chose not to use their time outs. Not as classy as I had expected from Wall. The SF def was better, but the O Line was horrible for SF. It was closer than the score. The fumble on the 1 yr line in the second Q by SF hurt big time. With that said Bountiful is a better team. Very sound and sharp. Good win Bountiful, but I think you may see the Dons again in the playoffs and the game will be a better one the second time. STOP THROWING DEEP SF! You are too predictable. You pass out of the shot gun and run under center everytime. Your line looked soft and looked confused and unprepared. Fix it up and get back on track. I know you can.

Don fan

I agree with Alumni DONS on this one, the Dons throw deep too often, with the bountiful corners playing off all night they should of been throwing their short routes all night. You guys have all the weapons at receiver that you need: Loftin, Nelson, Still, and Mattinson. I thought the offensive coordinator should of called a better game, but bounce back and go get em this week.

Got Beat

You got beat Dons. Soundly. With the smack you've been talking. About how all we will be talking about are the Dons in a few weeks. Well we are talking now aren't we. Your weak schedule won't help you improve at all for playoffs.

Bountiful Braves

The Braves have one of the best Defenses in the state and overall they just wore down Spanish Fork, excellent win by Bountiful

re: Heimuli

Helam is the son of former BYU great running back Lakei Heimuli, and nephew of Hema Heimuli also another great BYU running back.

Brave

K there were at least 7 guys in Spanish Forks varsity that Bountifuls sophomores played. The sophomore game was 13-19 in OT with a win by Spanish Forks "Sophomore" team. The sophomores on Bountiful saw a whole new defense in OT. If our sophomores went into overtime with varsity players then we knew Bountifuls varsity was going to beat Spanish Fork.

braves over confident

you are an average team. Any given Friday SF would beat you. SF played a bad game. See you in playoffs.

re:braves over confident

But SF didn't beat us, this is the point. Average, please, our defense owned you all night. You only had one good drive. You are lucky this wasn't a shut out. I'll give you this, you do have the weapons, but your QB needs time to make reads and get the ball off. You will make the playoffs--out in the first round.

red devil #94

SPRINGVILLE BABY #5 i didnt see sf even ranked in the top five

re Helam Heimuli

Correct on Helam being related to BYU's great backs, Lakei (Helam's dad) and Hema (Helam's uncle). No relation to Latu, Ricky, Anthony Heimuli.
