It's obvious who the top dogs are in high school football. No one can compete with Alta and Bingham once again. As a Bingham fan I'm happy with the way the game turned out but I hope Alta smokes Timpview next week and proves Timpview isn't nothing when it comes to competing with 5A (a whole new level). Good luck to the Alta Crew next week. And Good luck to Bingham in texas.

Wow Great game again. As an Alta fan i was sad to lose but enjoyed the game. Ai Was a little rusty and you could see the youth in the secondary has a lot to learn. Great Game congrats to bingham. Excited to see how the rest of the season plays out.

I am not a fan of either school, but they are the best two in the state hands down. Can't wait for the re-match. Hopefully with the cross-bracketing done with the play-offs these teams will not meet in the semi-finals. That would be a disservice. If both teams win their regions would they be on the same side of the bracket for state?

I was at the game and comcast was there i bet you can watch it there, at least they know what the rivalry is all about.

What a game! This was just like a heavy weight fight where both suads just kept exchanging punches. My hat goes off to Bingham and their coaching staff, for making great half time adjustments. You deserved to win, the way you executed your game plan in the second half. Alta never adjusted to what Binghams was doing, and it bit them in the butt! No excuses from this Alta fan. This was a great game, between the two best teams in the state, and Bingham was the better team tonight. They deserve all of the credit. Alta will bounce back from this, and I see these two teams meeting again in the state semi-finals. Bingham, make Utah proud and have a good showing against Trinity!

Where is all the Alta talk now? Even still and with all the media hype, this game could not produce the number of fans that Davis/Layton or Layton/Northridge drew in 2007. Hmmmm.

Each year is different in HS football, this year it appears that 5A is that much better but that doesn't mean that in years past Timpview wouldn't of held their own no matter who they played. I'm not a fan of any particular team, just football. IMO after seeing the top teams play several times the past few seasons, those TV teams would have held their own against Bingham or Alta. If TV played in 5A; i'm sure they wouldn't be 3 time defending champs but I highly doubt that Alta would be 2 time defending champs either. Their team from 2 seasons ago would have beaten any team in 5A

Bingham needs a much larger stadium or hold this game at rio tinto. i got to the game at 5:45 and still had to lean up against the fence to watch. Great second half by the miners. These 2 teams are great to watch!

If you watch it on comcast put it on mute, those play by play guys are the worst!

There are those who are saying 5A State Championship rematch? HA! Better do better than beating a crappy Davis team by 24-0, to be 5A Champs!

Region 3 and 4 champions are on the same side of the bracket this year. So if Bingham and Alta both win their regions, they will play the State Championship game in the semifinals and then the winner will have to go through the formality of beating someone else the following week to pick up the hardware.

The better team won. Alta isn't tough enough. Hopefully in State the Miners can do it again; that's if weak Alta even makes it that far.
